BEIJING, Jan.6 (Xinhua) – Wang Huning, senior official of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), called for better public communication to provide a strong ideological guarantee and strong spiritual strength for a good start in the comprehensive construction of ‘a modern socialist country.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks Wednesday at a meeting attended by advertising officials from the country.

Noting that the work on public communication has undergone profound and fundamental changes since the 18th CPC National Congress, Wang stressed the importance of making the study, dissemination and implementation of Xi’s thought. Wang demanded every effort to publicize the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CCP, and to tell the stories of the CCP well to mark the centenary of the Party.
