THE POST – Lecturer in Social Sciences (Public Administration)
You will join a dedicated team that strives to continuously inspire our students and the wider academic community – and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges. .

The incumbent will play a central role in delivering an excellent research-based student experience. They will be engaged in the development of educational thought, practice and research in the broad areas of curriculum design, learning and teaching, and assessment. They will be familiar with contemporary pedagogies, especially in terms of co-creation and active learning, and will be familiar with online learning environments and the principles of digital education. They will also be able to highlight positive practices in these areas. The incumbent will produce and publish excellent research output relevant to their career stage and demonstrate their ability to attract independent research funding to support this work. The School of Education and Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary school and the incumbent will be engaged in interdisciplinary work and in the design and development of programs to support positive outcomes in student achievement, student experience and destinations for graduates.
