Coached by B’s Dr. Barbara Lash spent the day helping the Jacksonville Jaguars 2022 rookie class understand the transition from college to the NFL as it relates to media interviews, social media posts and public speaking opportunities. This is her 4th year working with the team, building on her years as a broadcast journalist and keynote speaker to create an interactive experience for players. His coaching session is just one part of the Rookie programming the Player Engagement Department runs each year to prepare players for success on and off the field.

“I am grateful to former NFL player and Jags Director of Player Engagement Marcus Pollard, as well as Dr. Candice Franco, for bringing me to work with the team. Although each class rookies are a little different, it’s still a great group of guys who seem to soak it all up,” says Dr. Lash.

Dr. Lash works with multiple NFL teams and individual athletes and influencers, helping them navigate their platforms in the areas of media readiness, public speaking and branding. She is also able to apply her academic research on athlete coaching during diversity and inclusion training for a number of teams, including the Jaguars.
